I said 'No'!!!!

If anyone wants to learn the art of saying 'no', help is just around the corner...talk to your parents...afterall, all our lives they have said no to us so many times...:)"NO means no" is what most of the parents would say...as if we don't know what no means:)Well, but I guess saying no to your kids is one of the easiest tasks of your life. 'No' just doesn't come so easily & naturally when you step out of the house...

Seriously, how hard is it to say no to someone? I think it's really hard. For me, saying a 'no' face to face is just next to impossible. God bless the creature who came up with the idea of emails, etc where saying 'no' is just a click away.

I really think that sometimes it's important to say 'no'. Be it the personal front of your life, or the professional front, you just cannot keep giving in all the time. People would soon take advantage of that! Well, maybe writing this would teach me the art of saying 'no':)

    well yep it can be hard at times to say no..and it depends who you are saying it who....i can be quite blunt at times..and if mere ko nahi karna toh mere ko nahi karna bas...but ya the situation is very dependent..and rightly said..aacha hai ke ab email hai....jo log aamne saamne nahi bol sakte..email se toh bindaas bola jaa sakta hai. :)

    Hey.. looks like someone told No to ur prod.. :)) .. well jokes apart.. "No means No" is one of the favs of all parents.. so true!!
    for me.. it is diff to say "No" when someone asks for help..

    but then it all depends on what someone wants for u to say yes and no.. rite?.. soon u will be doing the " No means No"... I wud like to read ur posts then...

    The summer special template is absolutely wonderful! Really loved it.

    And yes, saying 'no' is very tough. My mom often keeps telling me that many people take advantage of me only becoz i cant say no right at the outset... i hope i learn it soon enuff!

    yeah true mannat sometimes it is very hard to say No ... even i dont know how to say no to friends.. and you should how to say NO.. like "No means No"

    Poonam, I agree that it depends on whom you have to say no to. Infact I must say that I have gotten better with time. A few yrs back the word 'no' didn't even exist in my dictionaly. I guess my profession and other experiences in my life have changed me a bit...but it still is pretty hard for me to say 'no'

    Vivek...in front of my charisma & charm, noone could dare to say 'no' to my product:);)And yes, it sure does depend. And true, I am looking forward to using the phrase "no means no"...it sure would be the fun to be able to finally rule someone atleast:)

    and yea...No means no is every parents tag line :D ..waise what you write is true..sometimes it is very important to say no. I wish I could master that art.

    Gumaah phirah ke kehne se better hai... ki one shud say No at the first oppurtunity itself... !!

    But, i know its hard to do this practically.... kya karein..!!
